I have an HR24 receiver. Both my iPad and iPhone have the Directv app, but cannot see the receiver. I have checked to make sure the receiver ID is correct on my account. I have checked to make sure the receiver sees the internet. Both the iPad and the receiver are on the same network. The receiver is connected by an ethernet cable, the iPad wireless. The IP addresses have the same first three numbers. If I manually type in the receiver's IP address, it searches for a while, but then says "invalid". I have "allowed" external devices on the receiver. I have enabled universal plug and play on my modem, not sure if that would even help. I am out of ideas on how to fix this. Anyone else resolve a problem like this?
