I am getting huge jumps in quality, huge jumps in audio volume, the video skips forward over 45 seconds, and I have no control over what bandwidth I can choose for the video player as it is "automatic". Commercials jump in out of nowhere during the game, the volume quadruples, and my picture pixelates like crazy.
My connection is wired and is 75/75 Mbps. The computer has a latest generation I5 processor and 16 GB of memory. I am an IT professional, not a novice user. What I am trying to say is the problem is not on my end. I am not receiving a steady stream from the Directv server. I should at least be able to choose what quality I can stream, which from the F.A.Q, I am supposed to be able to do this. Unfortunately the option isn't there like it is supposed to be. I am hoping that next week, when all the free viewers drop off the quality improves. I would welcome any suggestions from anyone experiencing these issues or a contact number to an ACTUAL technician, (not a customer service associate). For me to continue this service, the volume issue needs to be fixed AT THE LEAST, as the volume needs to be kept very low for a majority of the game just so I dont get my eardrums blown out when the picture quality degrades.
I will also add, I use Hulu, Netflix, amazon video AND WWE streaming, and I experience NONE of these issues using their services. I expect much better for 200$ for 3 months and will be cancelling next week if these issues continue. I've seen illegal streams with better quality than this, and as a consumer, I'm NOT happy.
